Today in the very early morning, it was still pitch dark, we took the bus to Zugdidi. After some waiting we took off and after a couple of kilometres the sunrise started. And there they were, the sceneries we were hoping for in a light you can't even dream of. Its very hard though to take pictures from a car with bad suspension 'flying' downhill.
Half the way down there was a small avalanche of dirt and rocks blocked the street, but we arrived just after the bulldozer who cleared the road again.
Back in Zugdidi it was sunny and 20°C, ideal for relaxing in the park. After another tour on the bazaar and a dinner we got and early nights sleep, tired from the short night.
The last day in Zugdidi was dedicated for maintainance, cleaning and oiling the chain, tightening some screws, applying some duct tape, fixing the head lamp (after having to rummage a lot in the dark tent) and repairing clothes. Most of the stuff looks worn out by now and some stuff is barley repairable but knowing that it will be hard or impossible to get the same or similar items again let's you try anyway.
