The spot I had chosen for the night was brilliant. In the morning I could observe the sun rising at the horizont, far away, where the plain touched the sky. A fox lingered on the close field and a bit later three deers almost ran through my camp.
Since the weather forecast changed from bad to not so bad I chose a spot near a lake this time. Here I can even take care of basic hygiene. It's nicely quiet here, so far no barking dogs and the road is behind a small hill. The "splomp!" Of the fisher throwing out his hook yet one more time, is the loudest human noise.
Apropos noise; it's amazing how we tend to surround ourselves with machine noises. Whenever man works the is a machine turning. And wherever there is a house on the countryside, there is a f... Wauwau barking if something approaches, that smells different than his master, though even there they make noise... It has to make noise...
